Design

The Redmi Note 12s has a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display with a punch hole for the selfie camera. It has excellent aesthetics, with narrow and uniform bezels all around and an 84.8% screen-to-body ratio. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and supports HDR, making it an absolute joy to watch media on.

It has a plastic frame and back, as well as a front panel made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is extremely bright and vivid, with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. It has an IP53 dust and splash rating, which means it is not waterproof. It has an IR blaster and, thankfully, a headphone jack, as do many Xiaomi phones. The Redmi Note 12s has 33W fast charging and can be fully charged in 60 minutes. That’s not too bad. This is in addition to the fact that it includes a non-removable Li-Po 5000mAh battery. Even with the high refresh rate screen, this should suffice. The main concession would be the lack of wireless charging. It accepts NFC for contactless payments.
