Display
It has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a 1080P resolution. This time around, the aspect ratio was slightly higher, and the refresh rate was increased to 90 Hertz. Swiping and scrolling on this screen is thus smoother than on the Xiaomi Redmi 9.
However, the refresh rate is not truly adaptive to save energy. In video player apps, it only goes down to 60 Hertz. Overall, this LCD display is quite nice. The blacks are quite deep, and there is very little light bleed around the edges of the selfie cutout. Depending on the color preset you select, colors are accurate. The brightness is also adequate for use outside.
Sound
A 3.5-millimeter jack is provided for connecting headphones, as well as a pair of stereo speakers. Each end of the frame has one. These are an improvement over last year’s single speaker. However, the sound is clear and punchy. The base is a little flatter than average. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner built into the power button allows you to wake up and unlock the Xiaomi Redmi 10 2022. It’s quick and precise, as one would expect from a Xiaomi phone.
Platform
The Xiaomi Redmi 10 2022 comes with 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. It is also expandable via micro SD. The user interface is MIUI 12.5, which is based on Android. It’s mostly the same as we’ve seen from Xiaomi in recent years, with a few newer tweaks. There is support for an app drawer, which categorizes your apps.
Swiping from the left corner brings up your notifications, while swiping from the right brings up your quick toggle settings. That’s what iOS does. Xiaomi is, indeed, that daring. If you’ve used Samsung OneUI before, you’ll notice some similarities, particularly in the settings.
Design
When it was released, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 2022 was more expensive than the previous model, the Xiaomi Redmi 9. At the same time, it strives to improve in almost every aspect. In terms of design, Xiaomi has changed things up so that we no longer have that obvious look from a year ago. The back and frame are still made of plastic, but this time they’re smooth rather than textured. The camera bump has grown in size and sophistication. In place of a notch, the front has a punch hole for the selfie camera.
