 Design

The Tecno Camon 18P has a polycarbonate back and frame for its build quality and design, and it comes with a pre-installed screen protector on the front. The phone’s design looks premium for the price, with a combination of matte and glossy finishes on the back and sides. The phone itself is available in three colors: Dusk Gray, Ceramic White, and Iris Purple. The glass-like rectangular camera module bump and the TECNO branding are also visible on the back.

The front panel has slim bezels on all sides and a center punch hole for the 16 MP selfie camera. A 3.5-millimeter audio jack can be found on the bottom department of the Camon 18P. Otherwise, those free earphones would have been a total waste. At the bottom, there is also a USB Type-C 2.0 port, a USB On-The-Go port, and a speaker grille. The left side has a SIM tray and a microSD card slot in the back. Finally, on the right, there is a volume rocker as well as the fingerprint scanner and power button.

Display

The Tecno Camon 18P has a cutout notch for the front-facing camera and a single Dual-LED flash next to the earpiece opening. Another thing to notice about this display is the massive bezels. This display has a higher brightness of 550 nits, which is ideal for viewing outside.
