Design

Now, the Samsung Galaxy A23 smartphone gives the A-20 series smartphones a new look. It appears to be similar to the Samsung Galaxy A22, but it is not! It’s encouraging to see some of Samsung’s design cues making their way down to lower-end models. Just our basic triple lens setup here.

On the back, you’ve got a matte plastic finish. Plastic is also present on the sides. . I’d love to see that, as well as the microphone. You have a type C port that can charge at 25W. On the right, there is also a single speaker. At the top are the volume rockers. The side-mounted fingerprint sensor is another one of our favorites.

Display

One disadvantage of purchasing the Samsung Galaxy A23 is that it has a TFT screen rather than an AMOLED display. It still appears reasonably bright in all directions, but you don’t get the same punchy colors.

You also don’t get an always-on display because it isn’t an OLED. Still, at 1080 x 2408 pixels, this 6.6-inch panel is adequate. The FHD resolution keeps everything sharp. And, no, this is not a 90-Hz display. Simply put, if you don’t mind a 6.6-inch, TFT, 1080 x 2408-pixel, 20:9 ratio (400 PPI density) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, the Galaxy A23 is the phone for you.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy A23 has four cameras on the back, including a 50 MP, f/1.9, 23mm (wide), PDAF main sensor. There is also a 5 MP, f/2.2, (ultrawide), 1/5′′, 1.12m, 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth), and 2 MP, f/2.4, (telephoto) lens (macro). You’ll get adequate results with daylight photos. Except for a few outliers, the images are all sharp and have a wide dynamic range. In general, these photos are very affordable for the price. The Galaxy A23’s main and selfie cameras both record videos at 1080p@30fps. In addition, this phone has an 8 MP, f/2.2 (wide) selfie camera.
