Details
The Dell Latitude 3180 encases the Latitude’s internal parts in a matte-black plastic casing. A mild roughening has been done to the surfaces. The base unit is encircled by a rubber casing that should shield it from bumps. Although there is nothing wrong with the design, the steadiness may be better. In our perspective, the base unit warps a little bit too much. The screen also exhibits picture distortions when the lid’s rear is only lightly pressed. The battery cannot be taken out of the laptop since it lacks a maintenance hatch.
